INTRODUCTION

Overview

This workshop covers using the Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Administration Tool (11.1.1.7) to

build, modify, enhance, and manage an Oracle BI repository. You learned how to import metadata

from a data source, simplify and reorganize the imported metadata into a business model, and then

structure the business model for presentation to users who request business intelligence information via Oracle BI user interfaces.

Have access to or have Installed Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g.

Please note: This tutorial is built using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition

11.1.1.7.0.

To complete this tutorial, you must have access to the schema that is included with Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus.

The Computer specification shouldn’t be less than a 6GB RAM with at least 100GB hard disk space. The workshop is a complete hands-on practical class.
